Ezra's First Haircut

Ezra had his first haircut back in November. Having had all girls and not having to worry about too long of hair, I couldn't tell when his hair was ready for a cut. It was looking a little long, so I took him to Brooke. She had me hold him and I fed him some of his baby fruit snacks, so he sat pretty still and did a great job. He looked so handsome!

Too Long

I hate going too long without posting because I don't know what to start with to try to catch up! First I'll post some random pictures while I decide!

Halloween

Every time Halloween rolls around, I always feel like we've already celebrated it! This year we had the Halloween party at Disneyland and then you add the trunk or treat...it feels like we already had it! But tonight was the big night, so it was dress up time and candy time! Eliza went with a friend this year--boo hoo!! I didn't even get a picture of her! The rest of us had fun and they got lots of treats!

Disneyland

For our kids' fall break, we headed over to California  (along with the rest of Arizona and Utah). We left on a Saturday after Eliza's soccer games and got to California in the evening. We went through vrbo.com and rented a condo in Ladera Ranch. We concluded it was more economical to do that instead of having to get two rooms at a hotel or do a suite somewhere. It was a nice condo--plenty of room and nice to have the amenities of a house in a regular neighborhood. The drive home after Disneyland every day was a little bit of a pain, but it wasn't horrible.

On Sunday, we hung out around the condo, listened to conference, took a walk and took it easy. We went to a park for a picnic lunch and Ezra had fun in the grass and on a swing for the first time.

Monday was our first day in Disneyland. We went to CA Adventure first and the girls enjoyed Cars Land. We split the rest of the week between both Disney and CA Adventure. I'll let the pictures tell what we did.

Of course, Disneyland was decorated for Halloween.

The Queen of Hearts took some time to show the girls some sass on her way to sign autographs.

I think Libby always gets her picture with this Indian when we go.

It's not a true trip without a Dole Whip!

...and treats from Pooh's Corner. My favorite!

On Tuesday night we did Mickey's Halloween party. We got to trick or treat and load up on candy. There were fun photo ops with characters, rides were open and there was a special Halloween parade. It was our latest night there, but it sure was fun.

We had one tuckered out basketball player!

Who is that caped woman on the ride?!?!

This was often the riding arrangement in the stroller.

We had to get beignets one morning!

The ride pictures are the BEST!

My girls love the Dapper Dans!

And now some pictures from my phone!

...on the Ariel carousel while the bigger kids went on CA Screamin'.

Treats from Pooh Corner (up close!).

Yes, he made a goofy face. :)

They had Space Mountain spooked out for Halloween. It was Libby and Hattie's first time riding it and I'm not sure they want to ride again after that!

Eliza and Libby took advantage of the single rider line and they got to ride a ton!

Churros!!! Don't let Brian's face fool you! He got a bite from each of their churros!

Ezra enjoyed the carousel, unlike some of the other rides where he would turn around faster than anything and cling to me!

Overall, we had a great week. It was hectic trying to keep track of everyone, but we all made it home safe and sound and ready to go back!
