For the plane ride, I printed a bunch of articles which ended up being really good. I found them at the BYU Family Expo website. Here are ones I read and enjoyed and there are also a ton more there that are really good.

For the podcasts, I went to iTunes podcast page and searched for LDS. There were a bunch there. My favorites were the Seagull and Cricket ones where Steven Kapp Perry interviews someone each week. They were entertaining.
